Invalid Access - A+ Content & Sponsored Ads as a New Seller?

Hey everyone,

New seller here (FBA + FBM). I’m trying to set up A+ Content and Sponsored Brand Ads but keep hitting access restrictions. Here’s my setup:

Added brands to Seller Central (no trademarks filed yet).

1 FBM and 1 FBA live product.

Questions:

A+ Content Blocked: Is this strictly due to missing trademark/Brand Registry? I’ve heard mixed opinions.

Sponsored Brand Ads: Same issue? I can run Sponsored Products but not Brand campaigns.

Workarounds: Any way to bypass this without a trademark? Or is filing one the only path?

Saw conflicting info online — some say Brand Registry isn’t required if you “own” the brand, others say trademarks are mandatory. Would love to hear from sellers who’ve faced this.

Follow-Up:

How long after trademark filing did you get access?

Did IP Accelerator speed things up?

Appreciate any insights!

Hello @Seller_Y2SvEtlsIeHpv,

Welcome to the Forums!

This is Sarah with Amazon.

A+ Content is meant to be used by brand representatives and resellers. To add ASINs to your A+ Content, you must be a Professional seller and have a brand representative or reseller role assigned in the brand of that ASIN through the Amazon Brand Registry process.

A+ Content is also available for emerging selling partners who have been approved for certain managed selling programmes, such as Launchpad and Amazon Exclusives. If your brand is already registered but still do not have access to A+ Content, please contact your brand administrator to request a selling role assignment.

If you are not able to get in contact with your administrator, then open a support case on Brand Registry.

You can find more information here.

Kind regards,

Sarah.
