Category frustration

I am a new professional seller (had previously been part of the handmade section) and I am feeling like just giving up at the moment.

When I added my first product, I accidentally added it to one of the "books" categories. I had to apply to sell my products in this category (I have my own brand) which was accepted.

I later realised that this was incorrect. My products should be in "Stationary" as they are either personalised notebooks to write in (blank inside) or a guided journal (again, main point is to write in).

Seller support was great then. They accepted my new application to list in the new category and all was changed over to the stationary category.

Since then, I applied and was accepted into the brand registry programme and have been able to create and assign A+ content. Then recently, I have been unable to add or edit any of my A+ content with an error saying that I'm unable to do this due to my products being under the "books" category!

I haven't changed anything my end so this is really confusing. I contacted support who said that my ASINs are under 2 categories. Both the stationary one and the book one. Since then, I have been going round and round in circles with support. My issue about not being able add or edit my A+ content seems to be being completely ignored and they just keep saying that my ASINs are in the correct category. (ignoring the fact they are now suddenly in 2 categories). I have sent screenshots of the error, all of the ASINs repeatedly, the category node ID and asked over and over if my products can be removed from the book category.

I'm not sure what to do, as it feels like a bot response every single time with no reference to my previous information given within the same case number.

I think I'm just going to give up and downgrade to an Individual seller for now, as what's the point in paying the monthly fee if I can't access the A+ content!

Just a rant really, but would appreciate any advice before I totally give up if anyone has any.

Well in case anyone has a similar issue in the future, I've just received a final reply saying they will not remove the "books" category (despite this previously being approved when I requested the move to stationary.) So no A+ content or ads allowed in this category.

Hey ho. With the ridiculously automated (unhelpful) support and categories changing/added to without notice, I think I'll be better investing my time into a different platform (how on earth do you all cope? ha ha!)
