Shipping To Amazon Fees UK
Hi,
I’m a new reseller on FBA selling mainly books. Only small scale personal books im clearing from home. When scanning in the items on the seller app there is a “shipping to amazon” cost to get it to the fulfillment centre. I know they have deals with UPS to make it cheaper but I was wondering what figure to put in there for an accurate figure on each book I sell ?
Is there a specific price as obviously the more you send in the cheaper it will be. I want all my costs to be accurate when tracking my sales.

If your only selling the odd book AND your not on the professional account, I would strongly advise against using FBA.
The actual amount that you are charged, is dependent on the weight your sending. I’m really not sure of UPS costs, but I think it’s around £4 for up to a 15kg box.
FBA is designed for fast moving goods and not something that is for the odd sale.

It’s around £4.30 for a 15kg box so the cost per book will vary depending on how many you can squeeze into a box.

I’m hoping to scale up eventually but at the moment FBA seems better because the books cost very little so it means I can save the storage to Amazon. I’m just wondering what people put in this section. Whether its an average or a more exact figure.
