Account Health 0 - Deactivation Notice

Ok, so I dont have any idea what to do about this, but I recieved a warning email stating this yesterday:

Based on your Account Health Rating, your account is at risk of imminent deactivation. We’ve found that you may have corresponded with customers to influence their reviews on one or more of your products, which is a critical violation.

Firstly, I would like to state that I have not, so I appealed this because there must be some mistake, and I received this response:

We received your submission but do not have enough information to remove the warning from your account at this time.

To remove the warning and restore your listings, please send us the following:
– A detailed description of all methods that you used to post or obtain customer reviews that are prohibited by the Amazon Customer Reviews policy.
– List of any prohibited reviews that you obtained. Please provide 1 active review IDs or review links of those reviews. Review ID example: RVBTR9XXXXMM. Review link example: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/customer-reviews/RVBTR9XXXXMM
– A detailed plan that explains how you will prevent customer reviews manipulation in the future.
– Examples of any prohibited IDs sent using the buyer – seller messaging platform.

I have no idea what to do, as I havent obtained any customer reviews, so I cannot even provide these details., nor have I manipulated any feedback, I dont even have any prohibited ID’s or any of these details, and it seems unless I provide all this, my account is gone!

I was working with seller support around the fact that a customer had made a ‘verified purchase’ on one of my listings and left a review, but somehow that ‘verified’ review was attached to 7 other unrelated listings, which I had to repeatedly report as being in violation of policies to Amazon community support, I wonder whether they think that reviewer is connected to me as I reported all those reviews as being in violation - and it took me moving heaven and earth before they finally got those ‘not able to be removed’ reviews, removed by seller support, however the actual purchased product still has the review on it (which is fine by me) and they may think that is a violation? I wonder whether it is related to that, however that was a huge mess up on Amazons part, I had nothing to do with it…

Either way they wont even listen to me about that, wont even understand the issue, if it is that, if it is not then I have absolutely no clue what they are on about and are just going to deactivate me! Help.

Hello @Sharky

This is Art from Amazon to assist you.

I’ve reviewed your post and understood that you need help in addressing the violation reflecting under your Account Health Dashboard.

As we see that your account is currently at the risk of deactivation due to violating customer reviews and policy, I would like to know that while writing an appeal did you explain everything in detail.

Your plan of Action should include three parts which are

  1. Root cause
  2. Corrective measure
  3. Preventive measure

While in your post you have mentioned that there was one customer review which was tied up to seven other listings causing multiple reviews on your account. You can elaborate it and write in under the root cause of your appeal.

In the second part, you can mention what immediate actions have you taken which are your corrective measures. As you stated that you were in constant touch with seller support team, please also provide case ID’s as reference.

The last and the main part are preventive measures, you can elaborate here and write about how will you make sure to prevent happening such issues in future? What are the steps you are going to follow and save your account from falling in such violations.

Please review Customer product reviews policies for more information in detail.

If you need any further assistance, you can post here so that we can help you.

Regards,
Art.

Thanks guys, eventually I wrote a POA which did get accepted and my account was removed from risk of deactivation status. Who knows whether it was because I posted here and someone real took a look? :woman_shrugging:

@Abella_Amazon @Art_Amazon I think the main point I wanted you guys to take on board, is that it is the abysmal seller support who answer the caselogs, that land sellers in the the ‘at risk of deactivation’ category in the first place. They dont read the cases, they copy paste replies which are often not understanding the issue (even though they claim to have understood the issue), and the advice they give either conflicts with Amazon policy or is so wrong that you land in very hot water. So it makes it very difficult to get help and get issues resolved, without them becoming hugely, long drawn out issues, bigger than they started (that have you losing your hair in the process).

I am not trying to ‘bad mouth’ seller support, but I do think that in terms of constructive critisism, they need to undergo a lot more training for the position they are in, which is first point of call for sellers, so they are able to provide appropriate ‘support’ and advice. (and perhaps come up with a POA of thier own).

Just saying.
