Customer Phone Number Invalid?
HI THERE, I am doing ever so well now and we are now putting policy’s in place for my company
But just one question about my seller account. I have a customer order dog treats to be delivered to them but it currently out of stock by mistake it wasn’t our fault as that product has sort of been discounted now i tried to phone them to sort out the problem or give them a full refund or give them, the same product but a different flavour but there phone number is invalid so unable to reach them by phone, I just emailed them about the problem and About there order afterwards but no reply, Is there is any help from you at all need help asap please as I dont want to get a Negative feedback on my Storefront - HELP!!!

thankfully they just replied to me now and they asked me to replace it to a different flavour now as that one was out of stock!

Edit - do not use buyer contact numbers as it is against policy and can lead to account issues.
Glad it is resolved, though you can’t really say you are out of stock on something but it’s not your fault

Hi, firstly you must accept that this is definatley your mistake - as the buck stops with you. Think of it (as Amazon will if there were to be a complaint or A-Z) if you were the customer and for whatever reason REALLY needed that item and for it to be correct and at the time promised. I know, I know…but those are just the facts. You ALWAYS have to accept total repsonsibility - especially on here.
Secondly and perhaps most importantly to be allowed to continue selling - NEVER phone a customer.
In the real world or on our own websites / eBay etc - of course this is not only good customer service but also common sense. Things happen (such as this) but on Amazon you can’t do that. There is a HUGE warning on every single order screen and it’s all over the sign ups and Ts&Cs pages. Look up “Communications Policy” in the Amazon Seller University pages and you’ll see what is and what is not permitted.
Don’t worry about it but Amazon can be quite a harsh and steep learning curve for new sellers and there are so many policies which constantly change.
Glad to see you got it sorted anyway, but hopefully this will stop you getting into strife for future.
