We want to change the brand name and trademark on our listings as the products have undergone a brand-refresh to meet wholesale requirements outside of amazon.
How do we do this without starting new listings and loosing years worth of positive reviews?
In theory you can't change a brand name as amazon see it as a new product.
That being said - some do manage to change brand names, often on products that aren't even theirs - so its clearly possible....
...but no-one knows how.
You wont be allowed I am afraid. Amazons rules on this are quite clear, they say that any rebrand would without doubt mean that the packagaing, inserts, product marking and labelling could be changed.
Arguably, like opal fruits to starburst, this was true along with numerous others.
So they say you need to create a new listing to show the correct new product, packaging etc to avoid customer complaints and confusion.
You can see where they are coming from, despite how hard it is to take on succesful products, sorry
Having a friend on the inside, I would imagine.
Don't know but you could ask the Chinese suppliers that have changed all mine!
