Competitor on 36% Positive Feedback Last 12 months - Still allowed to trade?
We have a competitor offering unrealistic delivery timeframes and a cheap product.
They're getting so many negative feedbacks and complaints (36% positive out of 53 reviews). And surely A-Z Claims.
I would have though Amazon would have suspended them by now..
We've been warned by Amazon about suspension just for going over the 4% ODR before.
Have Amazon changed their policies towards bad sellers?

I have often wondered that too - at what point do Amazon say 'enough is enough' and suspend/ban the poor players.

I share your sense of wonder but anything over 1% ODR is perilous territory too

A couple of months ago, I lost a BB to someone with 17% rating, with lots of complaints that the orders had never been received. I don't care about one buy box but really it's the usual Amazon contradiction, rewarding scammers with one hand but then failing to protect genuine buyers from bad sellers with the other.

You don't know what there ODR is. Unfortunately customers don't give many positive feedbacks so they may have plenty of happy customers.
I send many orders and it would take many customers to raise A-Z's and negative feedback to even get close to going over my 1% ODR.
They probably are a bad seller as they have unhappy customers and should look at the issues which make those customers leave negative feedback. However it is likely though they are keeping below their 1% ODR and able to keep buy boxes and have no impact on their account health,

There is a competitor of mine who has zero reviews for his product yet is absolutely smashing it with sales. Very frustrating. Clearly not all buyers look at reviews.
