customer wants to cancel order but doesn't know how
i got a customer who reckons their amazon account was used without their consent and we got 2 orders for the same product about a couple of min apart last night. the customer said they didn't place the orders.
how do i cancel them without getting a defect as the customer says they don't know how to do it their end and they have disabilities affecting their ability to manage their amazon account.

i know if i cancel them i get a defect. if i dont ship them i get a defect. i feel trapped and can't win. buyer is unable to figure out how to cancel them and they seem to be getting flustered already because their account was used. so where do i go from here.
can i mark them as shipped and manual refund? will that lose / cost me any fees or get any defects?

No defects but it will cost you a small percentage of the fees. Not quite sure how much.
