You have a few hours to cancel a refund after you do it. After that It is going to be up to the refunded customer to repay you.
I imagine that SS will be very sympathetic your position, your valued contribution as member of the Amazon community and very impressed with your overall customer service - but ultimately of no use or help whatsoever.
You can try messaging the customer however:
They might not be getting messages
They might not yet realise that you have refunded them anything
They might be extremely suspicious if you contact them asking for payment again, especially off Amazon, for something they already bought.
I’d love to say I think you’ll have a happy ending to this story, but my experience of Amazon is that it is extremely unlikely. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try of course.

I think I would be tempted to send a signed for letter. Thanking them for the order and explaining what happened. You could also offer to collect the goods if there is any issue. Give it a couple of weeks and if there is no response send one of those cheap solicitor letters.

If your messages aren’t blocked by the customer and you can no longer reverse your accidental refund, you can contact him by gently requesting the payment back to you through Paypal (if both parts have it). Can’t say the customer will pay you like this, might be worth giving it a shot.

If I was the customer I would be keen to make sure this mistake was rectified. However, if you were to call me out of the blue I would be extremely suspicious and suspect it was a scam. A letter or an email explaining everything and telling them how they can confirm what has happened may be better.
Of course some people aren’t decent and honest.
