More lost inventory @ Coventry

Hi all. I am now at a total loss. I have only been a seller for 4 months and use FBA for everything believing this was the safest way. however out of the 14 boxes I have sent over 4 shipments, Amazon have managed to loose 5 boxes !! They have only reimbursed for 1 box. My highest value items were in one of the boxes and of course this is not being reimbursed despite their own policy,. All of these have gone into Coventry.

Does anyone in the UK know of a route to escalate beyond the auto email replies which just state that the items are lost and the case is closed ?!!

If the boxes are saying delivered and the carrier has delivered the parcel, then Amazon should reimburse you for the loss if the boxes are lost in their possession.

Have you tried;

  1. the managing director route? managingdirector@amazon.co.uk
  2. Letter before action - Explaining what the problem you have encountered and how you would like the problem to be resolved. This letter should be sent to their London legal offices.
  3. Small claims court - Reimbursement for the loss including fees.
