DDP/DPU VAT and TAX
Good day to you all, I am a seller on Amazon North America and currently, in the USA, my concern is to understand a certain point about shipping, I saw videos that if a freight forwarder ships your products to UK/Europe by DDP way you will pay VAT two times the first for importing your products (through the freight forwarder) and the second when your products are sold on Amazon but if the freight forwarder ship your products by DPU way you also will pay VAT two times but you can claim from freight forwarder a certificate named C88 (you can’t claim it by DDP way) which you can use it to claim back first VAT for importing your products from government, my question: is that apply by same meaning to an Amazon US seller? I am a foreigner ( no US citizenship or green card ) and I have a TAX (EIN) and also owned a business registered company as well.

You need to learn more about international trade. I’m not sure if…
- you are selling the item on the USA Amazon site, then shipping the product sold to Europe?
- you are exporting pallets from the USA to Europe?
