Read onlyAccording to the instructions, I am uploading the documents to the listings using files – in my case, these are safety information provided by the manufacturer.
How long can the verification process take? In my case, it has already been 3–4 weeks.
Do they only need to be uploaded (in the verification stage) by 13.12, or do they need to be approved by Amazon by that date?
Do the safety information documents need to include details about the responsible person, even if the manufacturer is listed along with an email contact for the manufacturer based in the EU?
Hello @Seller_JhwdbcF9xRKyw,
about your first two questions I am still waiting for an update myself, but in regards to your last question:
"You or your supplier must also appoint an EU-based Responsible Person for your products.
You must then label those products with the contact information of the manufacturer and Responsible Person, and, if applicable, of the importer, including the postal and electronic address, in one of the EU’s official languages.
The labeling with the Responsible Person or importer information can be attached to the product, its packaging, the parcel, or an accompanying document. However, the labeling with the manufacturer information must be placed on the product, and only if that isn’t possible can you place it on the packaging or in a document accompanying the product."
Please see General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) help page for further information.
Best,
Emma
