DISTRIBUTER DAMAGE

DISTRIBUTER DAMAGE? Is this recent addition to DISTRIBUTER DAMAGE?

You can find it on Manage ALL INVENTORY by clicking on reserve items of any of your product

new window will open which called FBA INVENTORY DETAILS and it will be under unfulfillable units.

Again I do not know if it's know or not, but I think it's knew.

What it is?

DISTRIBUTER DAMAGE is one of damage product which Amazon find in it warehouse.

How Amazon can distinguish DISTRIBUTER DAMAGE and WAREHOUSE DAMAGE?

Their rules said DISTRIBUTER DAMAGE is the item that was damage when it first was put in warehouse shelfs.

This is kind of unreliable explanation.

The worst thing about DISTRIBUTER DAMAGE is that seller going to pay for this.

I mean not pay but lose money on every unit which will be identify as DISTRIBUTER DAMAGE.

What seller should do about?

First identify were product was damaged. Manufactory or carrier? Is it possible?

I do not think it is.

To get proof and evidence from Amazon that units were actually damaged before they came to warehouse and then present the to carrier?

This is impossible as well.

Then WHAT SELLER SHOULD DO?

Hi @Seller_PZZGfKVuATjtN, Inventory labeled as “distributor damaged” or “damaged by inbound carrier” indicates that the shipment was received by Amazon already damaged. This is not a new label, but it may be the first time you are seeing it. Units that are unfulfillable will will need to be removed. Do you have your Automated unfulfillable settings configured to your liking?
