Help with closing my account
Hello.
I have been trying to close my account but have been unable to remove my inventory, which has been in FC processing since March 2024. During this time, I have been charged storage fees that have increased considerably and continue to rise. My account was deactivated for some time and was reactivated a couple of weeks ago.
Due to personal health reasons, I urgently need to close my account and dispose of my inventory. I am willing to pay all applicable disposal fees, but my primary challenge has been communicating effectively with Amazon. I am unable to create a removal order through the Seller Central portal.
I already have an open case for this issue (Case ID: 16971339111) but am reaching out here due to the urgency of the situation. My account is active, and there have been no sales, outstanding claims, or other activity in the past 10 months.
To date, I have paid thousands in storage fees, which is adding a significant financial burden. I kindly request assistance in closing my account and disposing of the remaining inventory. Any help to resolve this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I would never recommend anyone to dispose off inventory, because of time involved in disposing. Rather, start a promotion OR reduce the price, to recover some money or loss equivalent to disposal fee.

Did Amazon request invoices and Supply chain documentation that you could not provide, or they would not accept? This would explain why your inventory is stuck and you cannot recall it...

As noted your account was reinstated from the issued mentioned in your original thread. Since the account has been reinstated, you will need to follow our close your account process and verify all remaining issues are resolved including any inventory or funds. Once all inventory is removed or disposed of, and funds disbursed the account should be eligible for proper closure.
