Read onlyI sent a parcel over two weeks ago using UPS, it took a few days before Amazon accepted it at the fulfilment centre, but it was delivered on 4th July. On all the pages it says that small parcels are usually checked in within 4 days. It is now 10 days and still not checked in or receiving. Is this normal for Doncaster? I opened a case and was given the standard “we can’t expedite”, but it would be good to have some information about how long it is taking at LBA4 currently.
Sometimes it can take a good couple of weeks anywhere just depending how busy they are at the time
Many people will have been sending in stock as prime days are nearly here.
Hello this happened to me then they closed shipment with not received even though it was delivered , you can only open an investigation once shipment is closed, which is usually after two weeks, but i have been reimbursed for one shipment waiting on the other one to be reimbursed
My shipment was checked in on July 4th, but not received yet.
its the slow lane, when i get doncaster i usually wait until it changes to the fast lane coventry. i also get more loses from doncaster no wonder stuff hanging about tends to get overlooked or lifted
My last LBA4 was created on the 3rd July, shipped 3rd July (UPS Collection), shows as delivered on the 4th July (afternoon) and checked in/receiving early afternoon on the 5th July. Other recent shipments (BHX4) have been almost as quick lately, seeing them on transfer within just a few working days. The shipments referred to above are the same products but totally different shipments.
I see lots of posts about slow transit through the FBA process, but I rarely see this. I have a feeling (I am a very cynical person) that there may well be other factors that are considered when Amazon decide/schedule items to check in, such as popularity of the products, revenue to Amazon etc.... but that is pure supposition and only based on what we see with what we send in. The recent wave of what we have sent in are advertised products (we only advertise 10-20 or so products out of nearly 2000 listings) and they are selling so quick that we are already in the process of restocking.
We now send shipments that are mixed with popular items and a smaller proportion of slower sellers that need restocking. It may not actually be what happens, but if I was operating a warehouse I would be checking in fast movers as "space=money".
I may be wrong... over cynical... other stuff....
I sent a shipment to LBA4 in mid-July and my products were live on Amazon within the same week. I've since sent another shipment to LBA4 but this one has sat at Tamworth for a whole week.
