Automated VAT invoices

hey i received an email from amzon that i did not upload a receipt for a business order and my defect rate is 100% even though we refunded the buyer as order was not sent. what should i do?? is it worth contacting the amazon and telling them that order was refunded??
and second thing is currently i am selling in UK and NOT registered for the VAT, can i choose the automated invoice upload service provided by amazon because my sales are less than the threshold to register for VAT but only issue is in 2nd line of terms and conditions it says that " i am declaring that the items i am selling are exempted from paying VAT whereas i am selling things where VAT is applicable. ANY suggestions on what should i do??
Much appreciated and thanks in advance

If you are not VAT registered then you can declare your exempt status, and get Amazon to automatically upload invoices /receipts for you, for business customers. This will only be for future orders, not past ones, so you will need to create an receipt for any previous ones.
Go to the link below to declare your exempt status:

Sellers exempt from VAT registration in both the EU and the UK can declare their VAT exemption status and benefit from automated receipt generation.

To create an receipt for your current one, many of us used www.invoice-generator.com.
I think that you will still have to do one for that order, even though refunded, as presumably it was sent ?
