Amazon is stranding video games with the reason "Item Discontinued"
@Manny_Amazon
Case ID: 16009176511
ASIN: ASIN's: B0015HZLUQ, B000WC8G5W, B000065VGR, B0015HZLUQ, B0021AETNQ, B002F87WFG, B0057PERVG, B0057PERVG, B002BSA20M, B00503E8S2, B000TG530M, B0053OMQIC, B001AS0UA6, B004I5EE46, B001FEO75O, B001U2BMF4
Amazon is removing video games from the catalog and stranding the inventory with the reason "Item Discontinued" and adding 2-3 more video games to the "Item Discontinued" List. I contacted seller support in the case above, and seller support's reasosn was "The reason for your listings to be inactive is either that it is incomplete or that it has not had any active offers within the last 30 days."
I know the items have offers, because I had FNSKUs of each ASIN above for sale, and now that inventory is stranded.
When I try to follow seller support's steps to add a product, I get the error: You may not change the brand name on this ASIN. Use the brand name currently shown on the ASIN detail page. If you believe you are using the correct brand name, contact Selling Partner Support and mention the error code 5995.
I am not changing the brand name of the ASIN. I am using the ASIN that amazon has listed in the catalog.
Because these items are stranded, the ASIN is discontined, and I cannot add the games back through add a product, I am not able to list these games for sale, and the list of games grows by 2-3 ASINs every day.

Good Morning @Seller_K2wUxuKxK4sYk,
I just wanted to stop by and see if you still required assistance regarding your video games showing as "Item Discontinued" ?
We have seen this on a few threads now. One of the feedback shared on this thread -->HERE<-- from @Seller_YLeWSA1AJFQUy was:
"I believe I figured out how to fix these listings. The issue is that "format" is now a required attribute and it's blank on a lot of the listings. This is causing them to get stranded under that "item discontinued" reason.
Click "edit listing" on one of your stranded items. Go to the "product details" tab, scroll down and find the "format" attribute. If its blank select one. This should fix it.
For some listings your going to get the yellow banner on top that says you can't make changes cause you're not the brand owner. For those you'll have to open a case and ask seller support to update the format field."
Please let us know if you still require assistance and we would be happy to continue looking into this situation for you. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
