Search terms/Keywords on Parent and Child variations

Hi all,

I am selling Phone Cases. I am listing my products with different variations - phone model and design.

Do the keywords from the Parent product apply to the Child products also? I have some general keywords that I will use for all of my Child products, do I have to copy them on each Child product or can I just write them once in Parent product, thus saving space on specific search terms for the Child products?

Each child variation has it’s own keywords so your search can result in only one the children.

You need to duplicate any applicable keywords from the parent to the ‘child’ product as well, and include some unique ones, specifically ones that indicate size, color, or whatever the other variation is.
