Buyers getting refunds and keeping the product
Hello Everyone.
It has recently come to light that Amazon have been refunding buyers from my funds and allowing the buyer to keep the item.
1 customer had the cheek to send it back to me to swap for a different product which is when i discovered what has been going on.
Is everyone else aware this is going on?
I have snce discovered what looks like 1 customers getting 3 free items from me!
This practise clearly creates fraud!

I recently had something similar happen, I sent the wrong order to a customer. totally my mistake and when she contacted I immediately sent out a replacement.
Sometime between the replacement being sent and the customer receiving it she was automatically refunded and got the item for free

We are using FBA for these orders that customers are getting free items. Potentially my company has been defrauded out of thousands by this practise.

What reason have Amazon given you for allowing this to happen? They dont do this normally?

They said its a non-returnable item. I have spoken to my account manager who is investigating this further and finding out if there’s more this has happened to. He was as shocked as i am this has happened. This happens when Amazon are the seller but shouldn’t happen to a 3rd party seller.

Its a Vaporizer.
We receive returns all the time through FBA for these types of products.
It seems to me possibly that whenever a customer complains 1 is faulty it needs to be returned but when the customer says they no longer want the item they are possibly told they can keep it. This was never the policy when i started selling these products so to just change it is not acceptable.

Also if its a “non-returnable product” they shouldn’t be allowing the customer to return it anyhow. Amazon are in the wrong here massively.
