Help with FBA small and light please (changing from FBA)
I have been using FBA for some time and are currently looking at Small and Light. I notice that some of the items I have in FBA would now qualify for small and light (obviously saving me some money).
Does anybody know if
- items can be transferred from FBA to Small and Light
- if not can a new barcode be used for small and light (for the same product in FBA) so that I can just run the FBA stock down
- or alternatively any suggestions on the best way to proceed

Hi Gill,
To move to S&L, you just enroll the products into the small and light programme. As long as the product qualifies.

Hi Gill - your units will still be FBA (there’s no transfer that takes place) - but qualifying units will be shipped at a reduced fee.

I sometimes enroll & disenroll products quite often and nothing changes (apart from the fee’s of course).
It’s a really easy system now with the quick enroll, and also being able to make bulk changes.

Are you allowed to have a regular fba and fba small and light inventory for the same item?

Thank you The_Little_Shop - that makes sense, I can now look at this in a new light as it now makes sense to have the same item in FBA and S&L. Some time ago I did try S&L but because then you just put one bar code on the outside I found Amazon were sending out the wrong items. Time to give it a go again now that each item is barcoded.

I think I must be missing the obvious here but I have been going round in circles for a while. I have enrolled 3 items into Small and Light and they have been accepted. They have appeared on my FBA Inventory. According to seller university when I go to replenish stock I should get an option for FBA or small and light. This is not happening and the system just wants to send ordinary FBA. What am I missing?

Yes I see what you mean. I was certainly missing the obvious. I have just had another look and spotted that the fees they will be charging are the small and light fees. Thank you for your help.
