Very poor sales
Hi all.
I have noticed a huge drop in sales since the start of May. Today I spent a while trying to get to the bottom of it all and I would say it’s the loss of the buy box on a lot of products.
A investigation I completed with the use of buy box data has shown me on certain products Amazon has appeared to change the % shared and are hogging the buy box themselves.
One product checked the buy box from May has not had any other sellers apart from Amazon! When previously it was selling well. I tried dropping the price 1.00 under amazon and they still kept the buy box! On other products I tried the same and what would happen is either amazon would drop the price to match and keep buy box or worse they would keep the higher price and still keep the buy box.
This is starting to be a real issue and I am sure it’s not just me who it’s effecting! I have about 100,000 of stock and I am struggling to get 300.00 of sales a day now!
Can someone at amazon please look into this urgently and resolve it.

Here is an example. A very good selling product suddenly not getting any other sales apart from Amazon. Dropped this particular product to under 20.00 and still made no difference to getting a sale!

Ive got a product which only I and Amazon are selling, its even co-mingled stock so exact service and delivery timescales... Amazon match my price and take the BB, I keep raising my price then going super aggressive to try win the BB but im only getting the odd sale every so often, a tiny fraction of the 100+ sales a month
