Amazon Refund Order Without Any Reason?

Why Amazon always make partial refund to the buyer? The reason I saw from the e-mail is" General adjustment". Sometimes 90% of the order amount was refunded, and I know nothing about the problem??? I can understand if its a full refund and buyer return the item, but for a partial refund would the buyer return the item to Amazon?

Were the orders FBA or Seller Fulfilled Prime?

If FBM, just open a case with the Seller Support and request them to credit you the funds back.

For FBA, Amazon should reimburse you within 45 days past the reund date.

SFP refunds need to be appealed using the Safe-T claim feature.

This is wrong!! We are at the starting gate of dealing with the selling through Amazon and this is a worry, The customer should be be able to contact you direct with any problem

So the seller has no time to answer the customers queries/complaints…is that correct? We all know there are dishonest people out there who will say they havent received their order when they have!!
We send our goods out by courier which can be tracked so why arn’t Amazon giving the seller this opportunity?

I think I’m right in saying that, when using FBA, if the refund reason given by Amazon is ‘General Adjustment’, you will not receive any kind of reimbursement from them. They will only give you a reimbursement if the parcel is lost in the post (as this is clearly Amazon’s fault and not your own), or if it is damaged by Amazon themselves in the fulfilment centre. The ‘General Adjustment’ refunds have been a growing cause of concern for me over recent months although, admittedly, I’ve done absolutely nothing about it so far other than keeping records of them to try to investigate later. I believe Amazon customer service staff just randomly/mistakenly/lazily click ‘General Adjustment’ most of the time, whatever the reason the customer gives in relation to their query/complaint (even it it’s ‘my item has now arrived’). If I’m wrong, I’m happy for someone to enlighten me!

Can anyone help me with this problem? We have 40yr old successful business and as we have a unique product, decided to sell on Amazon…we wanted to only advertise on Amazon but dispatch from our depot as we still needed to keep control over our product. However two weeks later and many many expensive phone calls and still we havent unraveled the utter comlicated minefield required to master this operation. Now its becoming so much hassle we wish canacel the whole process. What is the email address which can be used to inform Amazon of our decsion ?
