Invoices/Receipts
Hey,
I'm new to this and I'm having trouble with the whole ungating invoice thing. How am i supposed to ungate things if i cant even provide retail receipts? Does submitting the receipts/invoices you get in an online delivery package count as an invoice?
Also, seeming as retail receipts don't get accepted, how do i get around this? I can't just look at a product instore, contact the supplier and just expect them to send me only 10 products out of the thousands they sell to actual big companies. It makes no sense.
Can anyone help with this?

the answer is right there really isn’t it.
The whole point of gating brands is to put a barrier to sell them. If it was easy, everyone would sell them and the prices would come down.
They don’t want every Tom Richard and Harry selling certain brands, if you can’t procure them via a valid supply chain, you won’t be able to get ungated.

That is where your problem lies - retail receipts are rarely accepted, and if they are initially then further down the line Amazon will come knocking wanting proper invoices. It is pointless browsing stores and deciding what you want to sell, and buying items, for the same reason. This is known as retail arbitrage and is not the best strategy for selling on Amazon, DESPITE what you might have watched, heard and read on the many Youtube videos out there - there is no 'get rich quick' to this business.

@Seller_J3KYU17fgGu45If you haven´t done so already, I recommend taking a look at this Seller University video which provides a good guidance on the type of invoice you should provide for your selling application and what kind of information Amazon looks into for their review.
Kind regards,
Sarah.
