Parcels not being delivered by royal mail
We have been sending out parcels all week with Royal Mail and getting loads of customers saying that they are not receiving them. Most packages were sent out on the 15th of march via 1st class large letter. Anyone else experiencing this?

YEs - but trying to get Royal Mail to admit anything, let alone compensate for loss of service is futile.

definitely! same for us! lots of messages from customers recently! Parcels send out 2 weeks ago and not even one delivery attempt!

Lots of ‘missing’ parcels recently, to be honest I haven’t even tried to put any complaints in etc as I know its to much of a hassle and try to get out of compensation too.

The reason could be due to using ppi. If your still using ppi they are holding on to parcels on purpose. Ours are delivering on time within 2 days

royal mail are always losing item or we have lots of dishonest customers but amazon dose make it so easy for people to get our products for free

Hi…one of the reasons why I send everything recorded delivery these days, but still have parcels go missing. Now my account metrics are in the red, as I am refunding for lost items and its going against me.

Same here. Not been made aware of any delays with Royal Mail.
In fact we had a return today as the item was not called for and the item was missing from the parcel!!!

Hmm, not experienced this but I use RM tracked 48 & 24 all with signature @ addressee only with no safe location. If too many customers claiming INR either RM have issues or there is a lot of dishonest customers out there playing the system. My thoughts are the latter… sorry!

use the new click and drop system people! DMO and ppi are being phased out annd click and drop gives you a 2d barcode so you can aleast see if/when de3livery attempt has been made. It also gives you the chance to send grumpy customers screenshots to 9 show when and where item has been sent
