UK VAT Verified – Account Still Suspended Without Resolution

Hello Amazon Seller Community,

We’re reaching out in hopes of gaining clarity and traction on a frustrating issue that has persisted despite our full cooperation and compliance efforts.

Our Amazon UK selling account has been deactivated for over a week due to VAT policy enforcement. This has significantly impacted our ability to serve customers and sustain our business operations.

Here’s a breakdown of the situation:

All requested VAT documentation was submitted promptly and in full.

Our UK VAT number shows as "Verified" within Seller Central, but confusingly, it also displays a status of "Verified – Pending Action". We have not received any explanation as to what this status actually means.

Despite repeated outreach, we’ve received no follow-up from the VAT team.

Our account manager has been notified, but even with their involvement, no resolution has been reached.

We are actively selling and fulfilling orders, yet remain in limbo without any support or clarification from the appropriate teams.

We take full accountability and have acted with complete transparency, in alignment with Amazon's policies. As a brand that champions growth and trust—both with our customers and partners—we are deeply concerned about the lack of responsiveness and the ambiguity of this “Pending Action” status.

We’re hoping someone from the Amazon team or a fellow seller who has faced a similar situation might be able to shed some light or help escalate the matter to the right channels.

Thank you for taking the time to read and support us.
