Correct a product listing error – Request additional information

Hello,

I would like to clarify that I made a mistake when adding my product, I listed it under Handmade by mistake. I now realize that the product does not fall under this category and should have been listed under FBA.

I would like to know if there is a way to correct this mistake without having to delete the listing and lose my sales history and reviews. I would also like to continue in the Handmade section to offer the appropriate products for this section.

I would appreciate your support and guidance in resolving this issue.

Thanks in advance!

There is no category called FBA -- that is just the means of fulfillment (fulfilled by Amazon or fulfilled by merchant)

You will not be able to retain reviews. Reviews are attached to ASIN and you need to create a correct page in the proper category. This is going to result in a different ASIN.

If you listed under Handmade, you must have been approved for that category. So if you have actual handmade items, you should be able to list those.

Hello @Seller_gXmg9iEAGAtZX,

Thanks for posting your inquiry. I've reviewed the details of this issue, and I would refer you to the information given in case 17077573641:

"Please be aware that FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) is not a category but a fulfillment process. Also kindly note that Handmade products cannot be converted to other categories or vice versa as the regular categories are under a different internal code than the Handmade categories are, for which the information between the categories is not compatible with each other and this being the case, they can't be moved from one to the other.

In this case new listings must be created under the desired categories, also you can use inventory templates to add product listings in bulk. In other words, if you want to transfer a Handmade category listing to a regular one, you must delete the handmade listing, wait 24 hours and use a different SKU to re-list it under the desired category."

I hope this information helps.

Regards,

- Manny
