" Payment is on the way" Email but Not actually initiated

" Payment is on the way" Email but Not actually initiated

I received the usual "payment is on the way" email but the usual time it takes to arrive into my account has passed and I did not receive payment. I then checked my disbursements section and the payment hasn't actually been initiated by Amazon. It has been over 24 hours. Sunday was a Holiday but even then, the payment should atleast show it has been initiated by Amazon.

Please help

Thank you for reaching out. Your payment might be on the way! It can take up to five business days for money to appear in your bank account after Amazon initiates a deposit. You can check the payment date of any settlement period in your Payments Dashboard.

Use the tool to find out why you might not have received a payment.

If you do not receive the payment in the next few days as banks at times processing times which vary based on the institution, please open a seller support case and post the case ID into this thread.
