Read onlyBeen having a weird problem on and off for almost a year now.
As an example, t-shirt 1 has a Parent ASIN with Child ASINs for the size and colour variations. When you go to the parent listing on Amazon it shows that the product is unavailable - no option to select a size or colour. If I look in my inventory all is correct with adequate stock. An example is ASIN B0CVLLPTB4.
If I then look at another one of my products, the Child ASINS from t-shirt 1 is showing under the parent of an incorrect t-shirt.
Logged this back in March and Seller Support referred it to an 'Internal Team' who finally sorted the issue. The problem has happened again now though. What's made things worse is I've just had a customer contact me to say they've received the incorrect tee. This was because the variation they chose was one of the 'rogue' Child ASINs.
I've logged this again but wondered if anyone else has had the same issue? Checked through my inventory and I have a number of products with the same issue.
Thank you.
Unfortunately quite common issue where Amazon either merged 2 ASINs from 2 separate variations or just merged 2 or more variations. It takes some effort to resolve via seller support and getting your head around the issue.
Make sure that you understand first what is the issue is exactly and then clearly communicate to Seller Support which child ASINs should be under which Parent.
If ASINs were merged send unmerge request first, then rework variations.
