Selling Application - Rejected without reason

Good Morning,

Thank you for taking your time to read this, i am becoming very frustrated with the seller support team in terms of my application.

This is my first time trying to sell on amazon and i did lots of research upfront and purchased a small quantity of my product to get started.

From the research i have done i identified i needed product approval (for this category it was classed as ‘Chargers’. Having all the correct documentation.

  • Paid invoice - with information matching my seller account/company with all supplier information.
  • Product Packaging pictures with everything added on - i initially had a problem with the wrong address being on it but this has now been rectified.
  • Product Pictures with all correct product markings visible etc.

Every time i submit the application i receive an email asking for some form of change saying that the picture quality is not readable so i double check and make sure it is and re upload in every case going back and forward with the amazon team only receiving automated responses.

Once I’ve made changes it seems that my application gets rejected with no reasoning and no information from seller support. I have resubmitted/appealed etc this has been going on for nearly two months now.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of anything i might be doing wrong? or any tactics i can use to try and get this product listed or if I’m simply missing a step.

Any information would be greatly appreciated - if you need any more info about what i have submitted etc let me know and i will provide as much information as you need.

Have you taken pictures of every side of the product? They need to be able to see the brand name if there is one, the barcode, MPN, etc. Re-open the case and just keep replying to them with load of photos until they give you more info.

Sometimes Amazon just doesn’t need any more sellers in certain categories so will refuse new applicants.

Just a possibility.

I’ve gone through a similar experience recently. I had to be approved for two restricted categories and they wanted the same information. It takes patience and a lot of luck to get approved.

With the invoice make sure that everything they have asked for is on the invoice, I had even highlighted the sections and drew a ring around them so it was extremely obvious where to look.

I got denied a few times actually. Just keep sending in your files and hope you get someone to actually read your replies! I got a message early in the morning to say I was declined, then later in the afternoon one to say I was approved! So who knows what is going on, which is where the luck comes into it! Keep trying :slight_smile:

I personally feel that Amazon have decided they don’t need any more sellers for chargers.

Hi Zelent, have you had any luck on this? I am facing the same issue, I was able to sell my product for a week before it was changed to Inactive.
