Chargeback Granted due to no proof of delivery
Hello
I have not posted before but regularly come to the seller pages for advice and information.
I received my first chargeback after 7/8 years selling on Amazon and came straight to these pages for advice.
I felt pretty confident that with my proof of postage I had enough to defend the claim and I would be ok, however I have lost and have been told in black and white that as I have no proof of delivery (my items are low cost so are not sent tracked) I was responsible and would fund the claim.
I wondered if anyone has had a chargeback claim recently and defended it successfully without proof of delivery.

I am sorry to hear of your problem but sellers will always lose these cases. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery. Even using Royal Mail’s 2D QR scan panels with reference numbers, which will show an item is delivered, this is not sufficient in Amazon’s view. Even sending items tracked or signed for is not sufficient in many cases, as multiple threads from sellers here will tesity. There is no defence at all, as far as Amazon is concerned in this situation. You just have to take these things on the chin and move on

Upload the proof of posting with screen shot of your order and register the claim online.

Well they do. I’ve never had a problem. I send them a copy of the Amazon packing list that I save as a PDF.
