Hi
I have been going back and forth with seller central with regards to Determination of "Establishment" for UK VAT.
The business turnover is below the VAT threshold of taxable turnover of £ £90,000.
The business is Limited Company and has used a virtual address for registration with company house.
(Has been the popular route for UK seller rather than using their UK home address)
As stated on amazon's website "UK VOEC: Determination of Establishment": https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gc/vat-education/voec-uk-establishment ,
A Limited Company would need to provide a recent utility bill issued less than 180 days ago addressed to the company or a director/Partner of the company.
The one document that seller central keeps rejecting is the Utility bill (TV licence).
The bill is addressed to director (me) to my home address. This is address is also stated on the amazon seller central’s primary contact detail.
The registered business address is a virtual address, so we don’t have any other utility bills ( gas or electric) for this address.
Please note I have provided the below info also:
- Passport details of the company director
- Company House application showing company number and director details
- The director address details is on Amazon Account details also
- Two Invoice of proof of Operational Business Address and of receiving supplies of goods or services at your business address
- Statement from local bank account in the name of the director
- Utility bill (TV Bill) addressed to Director
What more do I need to provide to prove this company and me are based in the UK.
Please help.
Regards
Jo
