VTR Non-integrated carrier
Our non-integrated carrier is being counted in our VTR rate.
According to guidance:
" What should I do if I do not use an integrated shipping service provider or use self-delivery?
If your preferred delivery service provider name is not appearing in seller central drop-down on the Shipment confirm page, use shipping service provider name as ‘Other’ and provide us with the name of your non-integrated shipping service provider and delivery method. Please also provide us with the tracking information if available so that customers can still track their orders through the delivery service provider website. Orders sent through non-integrated delivery service providers will not be considered while calculating Valid Tracking Rate performance. "
We have been entering “TGL” as the shipping carrier and “Other” as the shipping service. As a sidenote, we also upload a tracking number for our carrier.
How can we prevent our non-integrated carrier from counting against VTR. Seller support didn’t seem to grasp the problem.
TIA,
Steven

May be a little early but just bumping.

I don’t know the latest on this, but I do know that at one point selecting ‘Other’ would always result in it being classed as invalid.
I know at one point there was a link going around that had the exact way you were expected to list the name of the courier and the service type for non-integrated carriers in order for them to work, but I don’t know if doing that actually helped.
Best bet is to search for “Using other for shipping service and VTR” or something to that effect and seeing what the end result for those discussions was.

I maybe completely wrong here but according to Google TGL is an international freight forwarder - are you using these for your UK customer deliveries ?

Hi all,
We have a similar issue with non-integrated carrier. But we are shipping with UPS.
We are at a loss why parcels we merchant fulfill with UPS are causing our VTR to drop below 95%.
We have had 19 orders in the space of one week in October show on the VTR report!
They all had tracking number input at the time of dispatch, however:
The “Has Valid Tracking Number” column of the VTR .csv report says “No” .
The “Delivery Scan/Attempt” column of the VTR .csv report says “No” .
HOWEVER… if you check the tracking numbers on the UPS website you can see they were scanned at each step of the delivery process - some were scanned 3 times only, others received as many as 12 different scan events. All delivered on or before date promised.
Anyone else encounter this issue?

Just to update, we have found a workaround by experimenting. Using “Self Delivery” in both fields removes the affected orders from our VTR count.
Still awaiting a resolution on the use of “Other” from Amazon Support who are still investigating however as the guidance appears to be incorrect.
