SPD Weight Limits
Hi All, I apologize if this was asked before, but I searched and couldn't find a discussion on it.
It was always our understanding in the warehouse if a shipment is over 150lb it should be LTL. However, Amazon let us do SPD Partner this time. We want to make sure this is accurate.
Context:
30 Boxes, each weigh 34 lbs. (1020 lbs total)
is 150 lb the limit for each box or the total shipment?

Hi @Seller_wQ0THYIbhYWrm,
Dominic from Amazon here, want to provide additional context.
- Boxes must not exceed the standard weight limit of 50.00 lb, unless they contain one single item that exceeds 50.00 lb.
- For a single item that exceeds 50.00 lb, attach a label that clearly indicates Team Lift on the top and sides of the box.
- For a single item that exceeds 100.00 lb, attach a label that clearly indicates Mechanical Lift on the top and sides of the box.
- Boxes containing jewelry or watches must not exceed 40.00 lb.
A single LTL shipment cannot exceed 5,000 boxes. To ship more than 5,000 boxes, you must create a second shipment.
- Total weight of the pallet must not exceed 1,500 lb. Single pallets must not be higher than 72 inches, including the height of the pallet, unless a single unit is taller than 72 inches. A single pallet can be up to 98 inches, including the height of the pallet, if it conforms to the "clampable" instructions outlined in the Floor Loading Policy. A single pallet that is 98 inches will be “squeezed” and split into two pallets by a clamp truck so the units can be received.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Best,
Dominic
