UPS deliveries to Amazon Warehouses Delayed?

UPS deliveries to Amazon Warehouses Delayed?

Almost all of our packages shipped to Amazon warehouses are delayed and every day get updated as "A carrier delay has occurred; we are making arrangements for delivery". I am wondering if these delays are from UPS or if Amazon is forcing them to hold packages till, they have room in their warehouse or both? If Amazon did not have room, they should not have routed the shipments to those warehouses.

Any one else has similar issues?

I've not had this recently, but it was pretty much the norm with one of the FCs they had me shipping to earlier this year. Sometimes get that message 3-4 times before finally delivered; the tracking indicated that UPS was trying every day. No problems with another FC, which ironically was on the route between the UPS depot and the problem FC.

I think the problem is with Amazon, not UPS; especially for FCs that are fairly new, which may not have much experienced staff.

And in general, this time of year is always difficult, as everyone is shipping in for the holidays (hopefully most have already sent stuff in; but there's always last minute stuff to ship).
