The images provided do not meet the EU labelling guidelines, which state that address on the label must be in an EU country
Hello, I recently ordered from a UK wholesaler to sell " National Geographic Green Sand" under the toy’s category. So since I’m a new seller I need access to sell in the Toys category, which is not a problem, I have applied. I have submitted the invoice containing 10+ units with my address and contact info matching my Amazon account. In the application I checked the box identifying as a reseller of the product. I was also asked to take pictures of the product which I did.
I got a reply from Amazon today saying the following:
The images provided do not meet the EU labelling guidelines, which state that address on the label must be in an EU country. Please provide product images that meet this requirement"
I’m not really sure what to do here because I am based in the UK and the product packing has Manufacture’s address which is located in the USA and Distributer’s address which is located in the UK.
I have looked at the product listing on Amazon for the product which I’m planning on selling and in the other sellers section there are people selling from UK accounts. I understand that my store is enabled to sell in EU countries which is why I might be getting this reply back but I got the products like this from the official distributer and like I mentioned above there are UK stores selling this exact product on Amazon.
What are my options here?
I did some research online and found the following article saying
"Firstly, EU regulation in this area necessitates that the business as name and address on a product must be an EU-based address.
This name and address must be either:
the operator in the EU under whose name or business name the food is marketed or
if that operator is not established in the EU, the name and address of the importer into the EU market must be indicated on the label
I’m not sure if I can tell Amazon this but I’m assuming the importer of the product (the UK supplier which I purchased the product from) being on the packaging is good enough?
Any help is appreciated on how I can proceed with my application!

The guidance you’re quoting appears to relate to the sale of food. Have a look at what the UK Government says for toys:

Yeah so I guess my best bet would be to order a new product which would comply with the rules set out by Amazon ie. in this case being the label should have an EU address. I can’t think of anything else that would help my case at the moment.
