Read onlyOur Amazon UK account showed up as deactivated for lack of a UK VAT number. We are located in the USA and do not have any products in the UK warehouses, no listings in general, no orders. Legally we are not required to have a UK VAT number and so I applied for VAT Exemption status.
Every time I go to the "Reactivate Your Account" , it just sends me to VAT sign up and doesn't allow an actual appeal.
I'ved tried reach out to vat-number-appeals@amazon.com . However, we wrote several emails to them - no response for weeks.
Does anyone have any idea how to proceed, without having to register VAT in UK?
I can't even open a seller support case because it just keeps saying "This email address is not the correct channel to submit an appeal. Please follow the instructions below to resubmit your appeal to the correct channel."
But the link they give has NO WAY to submit an appeal.
Anyone else able to get account reactivated without VAT if you had no inventory live in the UK?
Have you check that there hasnt been an returns that have ended up being stored in a warehouse?
