OBA ROYAL Mail codes from 1st April

Does anyone know if a Royal Mail are enforcing the removal of BPL and STL for non barcoded items from the 1st April? I know they have delayed this for those using OBA a few times now and only allowing the continued use on C&D.

I am still using BPL for parcels but had to change my large letters to another code UNH/UNG before 1st April
All on OBA

But I thought UNG/UNH codes were for barcoded post?

Royal Mail told me to combine these codes with my BPL, OLA, Etc
I downloaded the bar codes and got stickers just for large letters
All go on my OBA manifest at the end of the day

Am I right in assuming these changes have no affect on me if I only use click and drop?

Well it’s as clear as mud. If you are not using barcodes /C&D then you are unable to use BPL codes for Parcels. You must use SU1. The email send by Royal Mail on 19/2 is a little misleading as it’s stated upon request you can use the BPL code for Parcels.

Hi guys! Very sorry I can’t be of help with this query but wondered if anybody can be of help to us. I’ve posted a question on the forum regarding Royal Mail rates as we are having a nightmare arranging postage, hope someone can help!
