Amazon seller app almost impossible to list, authorisation required

Seems to be getting harder and harder to list on amazon, especially the app!? Keep going round in circles having to apply for permission to sell a particular item, being told I can, then being directed back to apply for permission to sell again!! It's got so complicated now from when I first started selling late 90s but the general theme that sellers are held in complete contempt has remained throughout! I'm not a massive seller but books CDs DVDs and the odd electronic item of interest are my main listings, anyone one else losing the will to list? Is the app just useless?
