Happy Halloween! In the spirit of the season, we would love to hear from our selling partners a list of some of your favorite Halloween movies (and other spooky merriments)—in no particular order.
What's your go-to Halloween movie to watch this time of year? Any classic Halloween movies you always rewatch? Which movies give you the most chills? Or do you prefer comedies?
Aside from the classics which include The Shining, Exorcist, and Children of the Corn, there are great funny Halloween movies, like Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Little Shop of Horrors.
I have really enjoyed Hocus Pocus, the 1993 Disney comedy. Hocus Pocus is darkly funny and the fabulous Bette Midler is always a treat to watch.
So let's hear which films get you in the Halloween spirit! Post your favorites below.
What's Engage with Amazon? I like to think of it as a section of the forums where we can connect and collaborate together as a community. Everyone is welcome to chime into the discussion and share their unique perspectives. There's really no pressure here, just a fun way to engage with each other. Looking forward to engaging with you all!
Great post, just what I was looking for when I came onto the forum.
I don't have a favourite Halloween movie but just wanted to join in the fun on this post. Can't wait to hear more.
Seriously? This has to be some sort of joke. Please fix COO GPSR EPR A2Z and all the other issues before asking stuff like this, for many this is our livelyhood and Amazon do not listen to the real issues. I guess Ronnie Barker has been resurrected! Best joke ever!
I like the remake of little shop of horrors.
Massive Mulitnational Shop of Horrors
FEED ME BEZOS!
A horror story (not yet a film) is one I read most days, with hundreds of sequels.
It's about a person who has ambitions to succeed in business, does a huge amount of research on social media and the interweb, then decides on a plan to find a unique product to sell on a platform that sells itself as the best for retailers.
After putting all their life savings and borrowed money from family and friends, they start. After a few weeks they are doing well with lots of sales, just waiting for the money to be sent. Then they have several orders where they have done everything correctly, despatched on time with tracking to the door, but the recipients claim to have not received the orders and want refunds. One of the recipients also add a review which mentions one letter on the box containing the product (which they claim they didn't receive) is a slightly different hue to another and the platform suspends the sellers account and confiscates the proceeds of all the sales to date. In addition the seller had a few days ago decided to send all the remaining stock into the platforms distribution centre, and all that stock will be destroyed as a result of that single review.
So, not only has the seller lost all their life savings, but also the family and friends that lent them money, all now living in a big upside down carboard box with an arrow that looks like a frown.
I don't find zombies, ghosts, etc. scary. The real nightmare stuff are things that are possible, or happen, in real life.
