Grocery & Gourmet Foods Category approval
Hello!
I have attached correct Invoice and photos but Amazon several times refused to open this category without any reasons… always the same reply and of course without any explanations: We have reviewed your account and determined that you are not eligible to sell Grocery & Gourmet Foods products. We evaluated the information you provided, however, it did not pass our review.
I have attached Invoice for the Chinese tea issued by the Chinese company GUIZHOU YOUYOU IMPORT AND EXPORT TRADE CO.,LTD (contact information is mentioned in the Invoice: www.gzyoyo.cn tel.: 0851-87223666 mail:services@gzyoyo.cn). I red at the not official forums that for the UK market the suppliers must also be the local one (from the UK), but I buy high quality Chinese tea directly from China why I must buy it at the UK? Is it true or the reason is not in the Invoice and the supplier? May be the reason is that my account is just “too yang” and it must be
Please, advise what is the real problem of the rejections and if there are any other ways to get approval?

If their message was generic and said something like “this will not impact your account” then they are usually rejecting your account. You can reapply again in the future, ideally with a sales history in another category.
You don’t need a UK invoice - if the invoice was an issue they usually say what is wrong.

It could also be that the invoices you are providing are actually pro forma or commercial invoices. It that is the case, then you need them to supply a proper invoice and then submit it.
