Only one of my ASIN is stranded due to reason "COS Stranded".
All units which are stranded have disposition as sellable and still they are not live on buyer portal.
Seller support has not been able to provide any update since december. Any forum mod who can escalate and get this resolved? I am regretting enabling COS. My 54 units are stuck, I am not able to sell and paying FBA storage fee for them.

I am still awaiting for a response as seller support is still not capable of resolving this issue.
I am not sure why did amazon move my inventory under COS if it cannot be sold under COS. Units from my new FBA shipment were moved so fast under COS and made stranded.

I have the same issue. I disabled COS, but Amazon is not sending the stock back although in their terms it states that they will return the stock in 30 days after disabling. 30 days passed by but no transfer happened.
The units are visible under Multi-Country Inventory report but not as regular inventory in Germany.
I have 212 units in Italy (I sell like 1% of my stock in Italy, so 212 units is too much to begin with), 27 in France, 155 in Spain (same thing as Italy)
So 394 units in total
We have a case open already but it is not progressing. Maybe you can help me with it?

I cannot register for COS because the marketplace asks me for local VAT registration, because there is a unit in stock in Germany that no one can return to the seller or delete because this unit does not exist no, it's just a problem with Amazon computer stock, and despite a case open for months, no one is taking action, and the seller support understands nothing and always sends back general answers of no relation or interest.
