I have not sold a thing on Handmade Amazon!
Any tips anyone? I have had my work on handmade for 4 months now and not one sale!

I didn’t for ages, but am starting to have sales trickle through from handmade. I am not sure if this is correct, but I think it takes a while for items to show up in searches and by a while I mean months!

Hi @Bustuca
Could you please post an ASIN for any of your products and then a few of us can take a look to see if there are any suggestions that could be made aside from things like running Amazon ad campaigns etc

promote your amazon shop on social media or using ads.
just uploading and waiting for sales is not the amazon way. Sales history will determine whether your product gets viewed or not. Plus whether it is FBA or FBM.
Put a bit of marketing in and once your products start to get sales then success breeds success.

I have items listed in handmade cheaper than in the main catalogue, yet people still buy through there… another reason why I think they don’t show up as much, but who knows?!

Think like a buyer. What would you type in if you wanted to find your items? I buy from Amazon all the time and I have never used any filter except ‘Prime’ and when I asked around I found that is commonplace which means your items will show up in any search. Use the Pinterest, Twitter and FB options on your items and share them regularly on those platforms. We also set up low cost automatic advertising campaigns to get started, they seem to take a few days to embed. and then at the end of 2 weeks we downloaded the reports and used the information gleaned from them to get search terms, keywords etc.

Hi,
I didn’t sale my handmade items too. I am very disappointed… I thought that there would be a great ‘boom!’ before Christmas but even I couldn’t find my products in the Amazon search…
I don’t know what is wrong. Who can help me?

The best advice I have read is ‘think like a buyer’. We had our first sale within 24 hours of deciding to apply for H@A. We hadn’t even listed our second item. Being on Handmade isn’t something completely separate from Amazon. When you buy do you filter into categories? I have never used any filter except Prime when purchasing. Use automatic promoted listings to glean information. We use it for new products and then at the end of two weeks download the reports and put the search terms into our Title, Description and Keywords. H@A has been a life changer for us.

Hi all when you say H@A what are you referring too?
Thanks

Thanks for confirming I wasn’t too sure if that’s what it meant.
