Confusion about delivery and Amazon fee charges for an item i sold
i recently started selling on Amazon. i am on individual plan and using Merchant fulfilment. I sold an item same as i sold previously.
for the first 1 i was charged 0.75 fee + 15.3 referral fee + shipping service however for this item i sold now it shows me higher price. i am struggling to understand if there is any other cost involved?
can someone help please

What was actually different between the two?

it is showing me different charges for the same item. Amazon has increased estimated cost as well as delivery cost.
is there a place where i can see the actual cost of charges i’ll pay to Amazon as i’ll be using 3rd party postage?
thanks

thanks for this.
I looked at this webpage previously and i wasnt expecting anything more than Per item and referral fee but for some reason its showing me around £2 more than the previous shipping cost and total its adding the shipping cost to the amount i had for the item i.e. if i listed the item for £10, it says shipping cost £4.62 and total is £14.62!

have you checked the weight and dimensions of the product you entered when you listed it - or have those details been changed either by you or amazon

hi there
weight and dimensions didnt change.
for any new items i am listing Amazon is adding shipping charges which is much more than usual shipping cost even though i’ve not added any shipping charges. i wanted to pay for the charges myself

Basically you need to work out your costs, then work out how much postage amazon will charge and adjust your price to compensate.
If you want £10 for your book and £3 postage, but amazon are charging £5 postage then you could get away with charging £8 for your book, either way you get £13 (from which which you pay fees and postage)
