When will DPD turn up to collect?
Hi guys,
Sending out my first order using Buy Shipping today, using DPD. Is there anyway to know when they will arrive as I’ve not organised anything with them presuming it’s all done automatically through Seller Central? I’m starting to worry!
Thanks

You need to book the collection, I’m afraid. You’ve probably missed the cut-off time for today so they will come tomorrow once you book them.

When logged in to DPD you click Collections at top, then create collection. You then insert your address where they collect, the weight of parcels, the number of parcels, and you can select what day you want them to collect, and you can also select a time, for example 2pm onwards, and Rugsy is right, if you create a collection and you are past the cut-off time they will automatically move it to the next day.
- Sorry I misread, you are buying it through Amazon instead of using the DPD main site.

Yes, this is quite a confusion process online. As soon as you pay, the order is confirmed as “shipped”, but how you actually book a collection remains ambiguous at best.
Can anyone provide some clarity?
Has anyone printed a label and then gone direct to a DPD “Pick Up Shop” to dispatch?
In the end I refunded the label and just booked with DPD direct.

I’ve just done the same as the OP and bought my first shipping using DPD via the Seller account and it is hideously confusing. There’s no place in the Amazon dashboard to book the collection, and if you email or phone DPD they say that all account management is via Amazon. If you search the DPD site for ‘book collection’, nothing obvious comes up.
I even tried Seller Support (yeah I know!) and they didn’t know the answer and have raised a case on my behalf. The DPD integration certainly seems a bit half-baked right now.
In the end I’m just going to cancel the label and ship as usual via UPS I think.
