Error 5886
Whenever I try to list a product under a generic, unbranded, or unknown brand listing, I do not make any changes to the product detail page, but I still receive this error.
"5886: You cannot change a product detail page, add offers on another seller’s generic product, or copy the product detail page to another store. If you want to sell a generic product, you must create a new product. To create a new product, follow the process outlined in the Add a Product tool. For more information, go to the Amazon Generic Product policy."

This could happen because the product identifier already exist in the marketplace. To review this, go to Seller Central > Catalogue > Enter the product identifier in the search bar and click Search, or you can also click here.

If you are trying to list on an existing Generic listing - basically, you can't.
As stated - you cannot add an offer to another sellers generic product.
You basically now need to create your own generic listing for the product.
