Help listing a product with Size and Colour variations
Hi, I’m trying to list my first product on Amazon. I really didn’t expect to get stuck at this stage of the FBA process, but here we are.
Product information: My product comes in 3 different colours (Blue Yellow Green), and each colour has 3 sizes (Small Medium Large). 9 Variations then.
Error message: variation-theme : A required value is missing for the specified variation theme. [size_name = \null], [color_name = \null], [size_name = \sizename-colorname]
Opened a support case with Amazon, they told me to update the quantity and that should fix it. It hasn’t. Waiting for them to get back to and thought I’d ask here.

P.s. I believe you need the pro seller account (£25 a month) to add products via a spreadsheet? I wish I could try that since I can use excel.

Incredible timing, Amazon replied to the case as soon as I posted here.
I wasn’t able to change the quantity and hit save and finish, but they were (yeah, I don’t get it but whatever). So it seems to be fixed.
The product and variations are in my inventory now, but they are also still in the catalogue > complete your drafts section. Is that right?
I don’t know whether the process for creating variations is a little user unfriendly, or I was being an idiot. Perhaps a bit of both. In any case I’m glad it’s sorted but I do regret choosing something with variations as my first product.
