Account under review, funds on hold
Hi
Yestarday i tried adding a new bank to our german store a currencies direct one, last night our account was locked, now back in, had an email to now say our account is under review.
The german bank account has vanised, our uk one is still there however we cannot get any disbursments our funds are on hold.
Contacted seller support this was the responce, i am not 100% sure of the reason, we do use royal mail oba and our vtr is around 75% at present
below is the first reply i have had from support however it does not make sence, i wont make 30 days withhout being able to get funds

As a means of protecting our customers, Amazon can place your selling account under review to monitor your selling activity and validate delivery on recent seller-fulfilled orders. During this time, which should not exceed 30 days, we can limit your selling privileges as a preventative measure against further possible impact to Amazon customers. Although funds will remain in your account, during this review we will also temporarily limit your ability to receive disbursements as per applicable laws and policies. Once we confirm delivery of recent seller-fulfilled orders, your offers will be automatically reactivated and you can proceed with funds disbursements according to your normal disbursement schedule. If you have outstanding unshipped orders during the review period, continue fulfilling these. Evidence of delivery will expedite the review of your account.
If you have funds in reserves, it will appear in the Account level reserve section of the Statement View tab on your Payments report.
It is a normal part of selling on Amazon to see funds in the account level reserve on your Payments report. It is the amount of money that is reserved to ensure that you have enough funds to fulfill any financial obligations not covered by Delivery date-based reserve policies.

Does anybody know if a vtr rate of 75% while using fba should put funds on hold and start an account review?
We are using oba, service crl, can amazon check the tracking codes with royal mail? well they are not even tracking codes a scan on delivery but not being scanned
Also i have no way to appeal this it appears.

I don’t think your account goes under review or funds go on hold because of VTR?
It could be a coincidence and unrelated (don’t assume SS know what they are talking about either)

Hi the little shop, i have been here for years i know by now your support is superior.
Yestarday lunch time, tried adding a Currecies direct account to Germany.
Uk is with nat west, then tried to log in last night, account was on hold, got back in this morning, german bank account vanised, uk no longer linked, linked our uk to nat west again.
I have opend numerous cases with support, they seam to think its the vtr but its not set in stone.
I also had a no reply message from amazon this morning saying my account is under review they will reply in 48 hours.
Called amazon again they say i should fix my vtr and change delivery company.
I think they can check with royal mail that oba is scanned not tracked? and this should not mean funds are on hold?
Alll very strange, i had carried on using royal mail oba, based that business would run smooth and amazon is able to check with royal mail if our vtr is low and that it would be no problem as royal mail simply do not scan a large percentage of the items.
Have you seen anyone else have this for vtr?

I guess its wait 48 hours as cant seam to get a normal answer, apart from my vtr is what they target, but as far as im aware royal mail oba is excempt from the vt metrics and this is what we use

Thanks for sharing the conversation you had with the Seller Support team and we would like to let you know that it is completely normal as the team tries to review your account whenever a bank information on your account will be updated.
Whenever you add or update your bank account information, a mandatory three-day security hold takes effect before we can initiate a funds transfer. For this reason, we recommend not to update your bank account information within three days of any payment date.

As stated by the Seller Support team, your Valid tracking Rate is not the reason for with holding of the funds.
