Creating a Separate Individual Seller Account While Owning a Business Seller Account — Is It Allowed?
Hi Everyone,
I currently own 100% of my company and also have an Amazon Seller Account under my company name (as a business account). However, I now want to create a separate Amazon account as an Individual Seller (completely separate from my business account) for personal selling purposes.
I have a few questions:
1. Is it allowed by Amazon to have a separate Individual Seller Account while I still own my company’s Seller Account?
2. What are the best practices to ensure there is no violation of Amazon’s policies (like linked accounts or suspension)?
3. Should I use a different email, bank account, and IP address to avoid any issues?
4. Are there any specific steps I should follow to create my Individual Seller Account without linking it to my Business Seller Account?
I would appreciate insights from anyone who has done something similar or has knowledge about this. I want to make sure I do everything within Amazon’s guidelines.
Thank you in advance!

If you create a new account, it will be deactivated by Amazon immediately. Regardless of whether the account is in your personal or company name, all Amazon accounts require a primary contact so Amazon knows you have more than one account. There are conditions for having multiple Amazon accounts, such as if you have more than one brand and want to manage each brand on a separate account, or if you have a compelling reason to have an additional account that Amazon agrees to. Otherwise, Amazon will deactivated the new account immediately.
