HMRC VAT Proof
hi everyone,
I’ve applied for a VAT number with HMRC and in order to get an extension from Amazon, I need to provide a document called by them “Check your answers before sending your application”.
I have shared the actual confirmation from HMRC, however that’s not accepted by Amazon and they insist on this document, which seems like something that I would encountered prior to submitting the application. Does anyone know how I can get this without having to resubmit my application?
Amazon request:
" As mentioned, we need to have Completed confirmation of application form submitted so that we can proceed with review of your extension request . Please see below an extract of a sample for reference.
Please try to access HMRC website again to search and download the requested document including download date and time ."
Example screenshot below (provided by Amazon VAT appeals team):
Thank you!

hopefully someone whos been through it can confirm but i presume that they have flagged your account for no UK VAT number and suspended it ?
You have applied for VAT number but its taking longer than expected to you’ve applied for an extension with amazon before they permanently deactivate your account - is that correct ?
Do you not have a copy of a document you filled in for VAT registration - or the acknowledgement from HMRC of your application ? without seeing that whole page i can’t see what it is
edit - you’ve edited your post
do you not have a copy of your application ?
