Fully Tracked, Delivered and Refunded
I am a long term seller on Amazon and recently moved over to using Royal Mail Tracked 24/48 and it has solved all of my problems proving delivery until a few days ago.
Customer claimed two weeks ago not to have received delivery even although it had said delivered.
I replied showing pictures of the delivery, gps address co ordinates and a photo of her front door from google maps which matched the delivery picture.
No reply from the customer until two weeks later she opened an a-z and won. I was not at fault because I had shown delivery was made and those were Amazons words on the a-z but they still refunded her.
The customer even agreed that the picture was of her door where delivery was made and she asked why I was so bothered because it was Amazon who refunded and were so nice about it and that I wasn't out of pocket. I have explained twice to her that that money is removed from my bank account by Amazon to pay her and that Royal Mail won't refund because it was tracked as delivered which I do believe it was with the evidence I have and the buyers admissions.
When is Amazon going to stop this instant refunding of buyers? Even after appealing the decision was upheld by Amazon. When you call Amazon, seller support agree with you that the delivery was made but still no return to me from the sale.
I don't know if I am more annoyed at Amazon or the buyer.

This seems to be the latest way Amazon are kicking sellers in the teeth. "Yes, we agree that the item was delivered but because the buyer says it wasn't we will refund them using your money".
The bit about the customer saying that it is Amazon who refund the money does ring scam bells. Also, not responding to your messages until after the A-Z.

I had 2 cased the same that I have appealed against today showing Royal Mail tracking, pictures of delivery maps and gps co ordinates and goes what amazon have rejected my appeal saying not enough proof of delivery !!! and given customers full refunds. im getting fed up of this as im sure you are ! im upgrading to Royal Mail tracked and spending more money than ever on postage in the hopes that this will result in less silly dishonest claims of this sort but its having no effect. why doesn't someone from amazon sort out this problem and actually look after sellers for once. what can be done ? nothing I suspect.

I have one going at the moment, claiming a non delivery when the item was delivered and signed for. There is a photo but it is just grey and you can not see anything which is annoying, the customer has claimed they bought from Amazon and expected an Amazon delivery. They paid for next day postage and it was delivered at 10.30am the next day. I am currently just in messages at the moment, but because they are getting irate about the Royal Mail delivery and claiming they have every parcel but this one lol. And I agree this only happens on Amazon Ebay and our website we hardly ever get an undelivered case. The item in question is £100 so I really do not want to just refund. We can not chase or claim from RM as it was delivered, everything tallies up other than the photo. Will I get hit with an A-Z probably will I lose the appeal we will see, sometimes we win sometimes we lose. I just find amazon such hard work. Honestly Amazon customers are the worst in attitude and scamming!

I have had two claims, one was signed for. The 'customer' made a claim three weeks after delivery but it was refused, almost the only time I have heard of the seller 'winning'. But I lost a claim for an £80 book sent ordinary 2nd class TEN WEEKS after it was posted. Not only have i been scammed, the scammers are leaving it a long time before claiming in the hope that the tracking numbers will be lost. Selling on Amazon is a lottery and the odds get worse every day,. And they seem to be completely unbothered by the massive amount of customer fraud.

We have all experienced this new trend, and sadly, we can do nothing to avoid it. Amazon is doing whatever is possible to attract even more buyers to the platform.
And we, the sellers are being used as collateral. Either way, it is cheaper than any marketing tool.

Remember Amazon charge US for the refund and even more painful is that Amazon still charge US a fee for the refund. The scammer wins. Amazon wins. Until the Government force Amazon to take a more cut of the refund this will continue to fund trips to Mars and beyond

Just an update, A-Z claim opened Amazon refunded impact no (the only good part) Customer over the moon with their refund, I pointed out that it was not Amazons money that refunded them! Also I said I look forward to you re-ordering as you now have a refund and no product! I have appealed as the tracking does have signed for and coords show exactly where in the customers road it was delivered! I will further update once the appeal has NOT been granted lol!

It is entirely up to Amazon to solve this problem, but, I guess they won't do anything because it brings in more ''potential buyers''.

In this case is it possible to claim via Safe-T claim? I don't know the answer to this, but I would 100% give it a go and claim for the whole order value.
If Amazon wish to refund then it should be their funds not yours used.

We recently had an order placed. We packed it, bought the shipping and then 15 minutes after it was 'all done' the individual cancelled the order claiming it had been unauthorized. We were perfectly happy to refund as we could reclaim the postage before it was picked up. However the 'full refund' has cost us 89p according to our Amazon statement. We were not at fault and there is no indication that this difference is an administration charge. So to us it looks like Amazon themselves are defrauding us of this money.
